Who feels this most acutely, and how often? Narrow to those who can’t ignore it.
What are they trying to get done — learned from their last real attempt, not a hypothetical?
Tools, workarounds, spreadsheets, or nothing — what does the status quo cost them?
Will they switch, pay, or pre-commit — signals beyond a polite “yes, I’d use that”?
The root is your outcome; each branch is an opportunity — a customer need worth exploring. There are no pre-filled solutions on purpose: solutions are the part that only makes sense for your product, and they come from your own research. “Use this template” opens it as a real, editable Opportunity Solution Tree in Outcomify, where you (or your own AI agent over MCP) add the solutions and the evidence behind them.
How to use this template
- Swap in your own measurable outcome at the root — a behaviour change, not a feature.
- Keep only the opportunities your customer research supports, and add the ones it surfaces.
- Add a few solutions per opportunity, then let evidence — not the template — decide which to test.
