Send it
The review step, who may send, the monthly email allowance, and what happens once it goes.
The Review step says, once more in plain words, Who gets the survey, What they get, When it goes and closes, and who it is From. Each has a Change button back to its step.
Who can send
Anyone in your workspace can write a survey and add people to it. Only owners and admins can send one, because it is the one thing in Outcomify that emails people outside your workspace in your name. A member sees a note saying everything is ready for an owner or admin to press send.
Before it goes
- Read the confirmation and tick it: these are your own customers or users, who would expect to hear from you, and the list was not bought, rented or scraped. We record that you confirmed it, with the date and the wording.
- Press Send to N people.
- Confirm it’s you, with your password or a code sent to your email, the same way as adding a member.
If something on the survey changed after you asked to send it, for example a colleague edited a question, the send stops and asks you to look again.
The month’s emails
A workspace can send 1,000 emails a month, invitations and reminders together. The review shows how many this survey could send, counting the reminder, and how many are left. A workspace can also have 3 surveys out at once.
Try it on a few people first
Instead of sending to everyone, you can send to a random few and hold the rest until you have seen how it goes. See Try it on a few people first.
Once it’s out
Invitations go out over a few minutes, and the page counts them as they go. Once a survey has gone to everyone, its questions can’t change: the people answering it must all see the same thing.
On the results page:
- Remind now sends the reminder today rather than on its day, still only once.
- Close now closes it before its date. Invitations not yet sent don’t go, and the link says it has closed.
- Archive puts away a closed survey. Its answers stay in your evidence.
